Dear Charlie,

Today you are eight weeks old and I can hardly believe how completely you have captured my heart! You are such a sweet little guy!  I love holding you and watching you as you look into my eyes. Your ready smile is so endearing to behold.  What a joy you are to me!

I have wanted to be a mommy for so long!  I feel so blessed to finally have you here.  Every little moment I have to spend with you is a treasure.  I know that you where preserved to come to earth at this time and that there is a purpose for you being here now.  I will do all that I can to ensure that you are prepared for the challenges that life will offer you.   

I look forward to every new milestone.  You are nearly eleven pounds and twenty-two inches long! You are growing so fast!  You love to wiggle and play on your blanket!  You stretch so long and enjoy having your fists by your face!  Mommy and Daddy can swaddle you and you try so hard to get your cute little arms out! Sometimes you are even successful!  What a smart boy!  You are making such cute little noises and fun facial expressions. You are so much fun!

Charlie, I love you with all of my heart!  I have waited so long to have you here. I plan on enjoying every minute with you!
